This straw boater is a great gender free style and suits a variety of face shapes. My version of the straw boater is an homage to the early 20th century men's hat style transformed by Gabrielle (CoCo) Chanel. The boater is made with Panama straw with a hand sewn rolled brim. This style is made with a 1.5" Grosgrain ribbon hat band with a deconstructed cockade (pictured on cinnamon version) or a simple flat bow detail (pictured on rose version). The hat has 3.5" crown and a 2.5" brim. 

Materials and Techniques: Free Form Blocked Hand-Woven Ecuadorian Panama Straw. The hat has a a hand sewn grosgrain ribbon inner head band.
